Catrice: Swatches and Black Swan Nail Art

Today is the first free day I've had in a while and my room is piling up with stuff I need to clean and organize. I hate how quickly everything has taken a back seat to work. :(
Anyway, I want to share some polishes I got in a swap with Polishious. I LOVE trying brands that I can't get in the US, it makes everything exciting and new.
Sold Out Forever, From Dusk To Dawn, I Scream Peach!, Plum Play With Me, and It Blue My Mind!.
I was so happy when I got these polishes. All of them are colors I would have picked for myself.

This is 2 coats of Sold Out Forever. This is the polish that got me interested in Catrice so I was happy when  she sent me this polish.

It's a minty green polish with shimmer. It's very pretty and the shimmer was a pleasant surprise.

I wouldn't expect a shimmer in a polish of this color. Very cool.

This is 2 coats of From Dusk To Dawn.

From Dusk To Dawn is a brownish taupe creme. The first coat was streaky, but the second coat even everything out.

It seems like I've come across a lot of taupes lately. They're very classy so it's always a welcome edition!

This is 2 coats of I Scream Peach!.

I Scream Peach! was a very thick polish. It is a coral creme that it could have used 3 coats. I used a top coat to even it out.

The top coat made everything beautiful. :)

This is 2 coats of Plum Play With Me.

This is the perfect purple creme. The first coat was streaky, but the second coat evened out.
Sorry, no close up for this polish! The picture wouldn't upload for some reason.

This is 1 coat of It Blue My Mind!.

It Blue My Mind! is a dark blue shimmer that is very opaque and breathtakingly perfect.

Perfect!

Also, I did some Black Swan nail art that I thought was kind of fun:
The last two fingers are supposed to be swan feathers :).

I had a lot of fun with this.

I created the black feather by using a black nail art striper and the white feather I created by using a fan brush and white paint.

I created a "bloody feather" with plate BM15.

I simply painted top coat on my middle finger, over the pink polish, and dipped it in craft glitter I ordered from KitKraft.biz

Creating nail art for this movie was hard, but I wanted to try!

What I used:
Zoya Mia, Sephora by OPI What's A Tire Jack? Matte, Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud, Sally Hansen Cardinal, White Paint, and a nail art striper.

  6. The first three Catrice are actually all dupes for three Chanels, if I remember correctly. At least the green and the peach one are for sure, but i think also the taupe one. And I'd looove to see a full mani of your pinky nail art, I really love the way it turned out!
