E.L.F. Holiday Swatches and Orly Minis

The winner for my 100th follower giveaway will be announced soon. I want to thank everyone who took the time to enter and blog about my giveaway. I can't believe I'm already over 250 followers at this point. I'm glad that you guys are interested in reading my blog. :)
Anyway, here is some stuff that I've been meaning to post for a while.
Golden Goddess, Cranberry, and Twinkle.
After my last E.L.F. Post I was put off on this brand for a while. None the less, I couldn't pass up a pack of polishes for 3 bucks.

This is 5 coats of Golden Goddess.

This polish was so SHEER! The bottle is very deceiving. I thought it was going to be opaque and it never got there.

Golden Goddess is a gold glitter polish with silver holographic hexagon glitter. It also dried matte...which was strange.

This polish made me so mad. So many layers!

This is 2 coats of Cranberry.

Cranberry dried to another strange finish, a satin finish. Although, with this polish, I think it looks cool.

Cranberry is a red polish with glitter in it.

This reminds me of the texture of cranberry sauce.

This is 2 coats of Twinkle over E.L.F. Cranberry.

Twinkle also dried to a satin finish.

Twinkle has pink and blue glitter in a clear base.

The most impressive thing about this collection was the strange finishes. The polishes just weren't that interesting to me, but for 3 dollars you can't beat it.

I also swatched some of the Orly Minis I bought in Las Vegas.
This is 3 coats of Je T'Aime.

This polish was very streaky and thick. I used a top coat to even it out- which made it look even more thick. Je T'Aime is a streaky and sheer pink jelly polish.

Ew, it looks so thick!

This is 3 coats of VIP layered over Je T'Aime.

This looked so much cooler in real life! My nails looked like pink disco balls! VIP is this amazing polish with tiny pink hexagon glitter.

My nails looked so thick after this.

Bleh, I think the only polish I liked in this post was VIP! I think today was a disappointing swatch day.
But tomorrow I'll share some polishes that I REALLY love with you guys.

  1. I frankened the Golden Goddess. I was very disappointed with this trio as well. Meh. They had great potential.

  2. Mmmm the Golden Goddess polish is definitely a layering one, it seems. It's still not sold on the French website which is always late (and often out of stock) comparing to the US one :)
