Blue Polishes

A couple of you guys suggested that I contact Zoya and ask for a new brush after I talked about the wonky brush on Jolene yesterday. I connected with a CS rep through live chat and they sent one out to me. Of course, this prompted me to place a Zoya-Qtica order so I can't wait to get my goodies as well as my brush!
I also picked up Zoya Anchor Base Coat and Qtica Extending Top Coat yesterday. I'm kind of a top coat and base coat whore. I finally found a top coat that really works well for me- OPI DS Top Coat. None the less, I want to keep "looking".
Anyway, I wanted to share with you guys some blue polishes today.
Mini Divas Star, LA Colors Atomic, Petites Color Fever Fiji, China Glaze Atlantis, China Glaze Midnight Mission, and Sinful Colors Let Me Go.

This is 3 coats of Mini Divas Star.

Star is a dusty baby blue creme. It definitely did not smell B3F.

I was actually surprised by this polish considering I picked it up at the Dollar Tree. It applied nicely after 3 coats and the color is a perfect dusty blue.

I think this polish goes well with my skin tone.

It also comes with a mini file in the cap which I think is really cute.

This is 3 coats of LA Colors Atomic.

Atomic is a deep teal jelly that wants to photographic green.

This is closer to the real color. I think LA Colors is not a brand that is respected or chased after in the polish world. It's a polish that hangs out in the Dollar Tree and I've heard bad things about it's formula. I took a chance with this one and LOVED it. I can't speak for all the LA Color polishes but I was very happy with this polish.

YUM. It looks like a pool here :P.

This is 2 coats of Petites Color Fever Fiji.

Fiji is a aqua-teal frost polish with a ton of shimmer inside it.

Petites Color Fever never disappoints me. :) Look how deep and gorgeous this polish looks. I think I'm in love.

This is another one I think goes well with my skin.

This is 3 coats of China Glaze Atlantis.

Atlantis is a polish with a jelly teal base with tons of holographic glitter spread throughout it.

I kept picking this polish up at Sally's and never buying it. I'm so glad I finally made the plunge because it did not disappoint!

Like most glitter polishes, this polish was a bit thick. I also am worried the base will stain my nails.

This is 2 coats of China Glaze Midnight Mission.

Midnight Mission is deep blue with silver micro glitter.

This polish, in real life, looks a lot like the night sky.

You can see bits of the micro glitter here.

This is 1 coat of Sinful Colors Let Me Go over Midnight Mission.

Let Me Go is a pearly duochrome polish that shines green and purple.

This polish was very watery.

I have mixed feelings on this one.

I hope you guys enjoyed my blue polishes! I'm off to work. :)

  5. Glad you've got a new brush on the way! I can't wait to get my Zoya's in the mail ... I was lucky to get in on the 3 Green Promo!

Funny that you used SC Let Me Go.... I used it last night for the first time! I didn't use anything under it... I knew it was pearly and sheer so I used it as a base for a french mani. The tips look like crud because I did them in the dark, but Let Me Go looks great on a french! I'll post pics on my blog later. :)
