Color Club: Random Swatches

My Giveaway ends tonight at 11:59 pm EST.
It's your last chance to enter!

I can't believe I am already at 500 followers! :) I want to thank everyone who reads my commentary and takes the time to comment. You guys are amazing. :) I am in the middle of putting together another giveaway after this one gets out and the winner receives it.

Anyway, today I want to share some more Color Club swatches with you. Again, these didn't have names but I was able to look most of them up online.
Sex Symbol, De-Lux-cious, Art Of Seduction, Red Velvet, and Covered In Diamonds.

This is 3 coats of Sex Symbol.

A blurry shot to show the glittery goodness.

Sex Symbol is an opaque silver glitter polish. It's VERY blingy.

My nail looked like a disco ball.

This is 3 coats of De-Lux-cious.

De-Lux-cious is a slate grey with multicolored glitter. Ugh, I hate hyphenated names.

Eh, I'm not really feeling this polish. I think the glitter and grey don't go great together.

The glitter also added a bit of "grit" to the polish.

This is 3 coats of of Art Of Seduction.

Art of Seduction is a gritty red glitter polish.

The red shade of the glitter in this polish reminds me of Dorthy's shoes, from the Wizard of Oz.

I'm sure the grittiness would have faded with a layer of Gelous and top coat.

This is 2 coats of Red Velvet.

Red Velvet is a black jelly polish with red glitter. I haven't compared it, but I feel it might be dupey for China Glaze Lubu Heels. I will say I love the formula on Red Velvet much more.

I love the way the red glitter glistens in the black base.

Up close I think it looks a bit gross. :P

This is 1 coat of Covered In Diamonds over Red Velvet.

Covered In Diamonds is an opalescent flakie polish in a suspension base. A lot of people have trouble with the application of this polish. As you can see on the corner of my pinky, the flakies don't want to lay flat. The best way to deal with this is to gently push the flakies down when they are still a bit wet.

I don't think I love Covered In Diamonds over Red Velvet. It's kind of like someone dumped confetti on a birthday cake.

The flakies do look very cool. :)

Some of you guys might remember I made a franken that was a bit similar to Covered In Diamonds.
Here they are next to each other. You can see they have similar flakies in size, but Covered In Diamonds has much more colorful flakies!
