6/19/11 NOTDs

This is an unnamed Hot Topic flakie polish over OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui.

I used two coats of flakies.

This polish had large, iridescent blue flakies.

This polish ended up having too large of flakies and it didn't want to lay flat. Think Color Club Covered In Diamonds but blue.

This is 3 coats of Sasatinnie FCGL002.

FCGL002 is a purple flakie polish that is similar to OPI Merry Midnight. My camera can't capture the awesomeness that is this polish, sadly.

Since I am MM-free, I am glad that I at least have this polish in my possession.

I swear I am usually not this messy!

This is 2 coats of NYX Dark Cherry. Blurgh. Streaky.. Moving on.

This is 2 coats of OPI Extra-Va-Vaganza over NYX Dark Cherry.

Extra-Va-Vaganza is a multi colored glitter with an overall orange glitter appearance.

I got a lot of compliments when I wore this mani.

It's very pretty.

This is 2 coats of OPI Kinky In Helsinki.

KIH is a hot pink shimmer polish.

I didn't think I would like this polish but I did. The formula was nice.

  1. ah, yes...covered in diamonds. That one is quite a pain to work with :-( Shame.

  2. The purple one is gorgeous, I love it!
And how is it possible that almost every colour looks good on you?? :D

  3. Those first two are both really nice!

  4. Ooh! the glitter over the dark red is gorgeous!

  5. Loved the post! Do you have any tips for removing glitter nail polish though? They look great on the nails but it is just a pain to remove! Thanks :D

  6. Pretty! OPI Kinky In Helsinki looks a lot like China Glaze's 108 degrees. Can you do a comparison?

  7. Elsa P- I have no idea but thank you!

Lindtchoc- The best way to remove glitter is the foil method. Take a cotton ball soaked in remover, lay it on the nail and wrap your nail in foil. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. When you unwrap the foil, most of the glitter will slid right off!

    Kendra- I don't have 108! Sorry!

  8. Hi girl! I lately began writing a nail blog of my own and was hoping I could link to this post of yours in a post of mine. (I am on the hunt for this glitter and just cannot find it at any hot topic, hence no pictures of my own.) I was hoping to just provide a link to this post in a sentence like "I've been looking for this [link to this post of yours-blue glitter polish] from Hot Topic yada yada yada." I am ignorant on web etiquette so I am totally unsure where this falls on the scale of rude to polite or whatnot. If that would be okay with you let me know! If not, thanks anyway and I just love your blog. :) -cici
