Fake Nfu Oh Glitters

I first saw these glitters on Vetten's blog here and I knew I had to have them. In fact, I ordered them that night!
They don't seem to have a name to them, the bottle says "IO" but I just call them my Nfu Oh Fakes. :)

This is 2 coats of 145 over China Glaze Gamer Glam.

145 is a silver glitter polish with large, reflective silver hexagon glitter and smaller, reflective circle glitter.

These do not smell B3F.

I was anticipating these glitters no having a good coverage but I was surprised.

This is 2 coats of 149 over China Glaze Laser Lime.

149 is a copper glitter with large, reflective hexagon glitter and smaller, reflective circle glitter.

The glitter in this polish looks like little flecks of copper.

The glitter in these polishes are highly reflective.

This is 2 coats of 150 over China Glaze High Def.

This is a red glitter polish with the same formula.

I think the red glitter looks a bit like blood splatter.

The glitter does want to stand up. So I had to be careful with application.

This is 2 coats of 148 over China Glaze Megabite.

This is a violet glitter polish with the same formulation.

The glitters in these polishes also want to cluster together a little bit.

There's a lone glitter trying to escape!

This is 2 coats of 148 over China Glaze 3D Fantasy.

148 is a light green glitter polish with the same formulation.

The glitter in these polishes is almost foily.

This is 2 coats of 144 over China Glaze Hologram.

144 is a deep, vibrant blue with the same glitter formulation.

This is my favorite glitter combo. I think the blue really pops against the silver.

I am really loving these glitters. They might not be B3F but they are fabulous. I also have not seen another glitter polish that has this kind of glitter!

What do you think of these Fake Nfu Oh polishes?

  12. Hey, I totally bought all these too. Mine arrived two days ago. I think they are JQ brand, that's what my bottles have written on the front. I bought 11 bottles, all in different colours. I just need to get around to swatching now.

  13. haha love the name you gave them! They're all so pretty! I think my fav is the violet glitter over yellow

  14. toesthattwinkle, thenailaholic, shay- I bought them off of ebay by searching for "glitter polish".

Rebecca- I think the glitter has a different shine to it than the glitter in Bad Romance.

Kitties26- They say JQ? Haha I thought it was IO. The bottles were so hard to read. Can't wait to see swatches!

  15. lol, these are lovely, i ordered one of these 'fake nfu oh's' a couple of weeks ago too, did you see the pink and blue multicoloured one? its lovely and lol i agree i thought it said 'jo' on the bottle, in fact i didnt realise there was even a name on them hehe

  17. hey! love your blog, i'm a polish junkie/aspiring owner of a huge collection too. Love your stash pages and your massive amounts of glitter, good to know someone has a similar fetish for sparkles :)
