The Winner of my 100th Follower Giveaway is....

Mina's favorite post is Franken Friday.

I've been a silly and forget to include a spot for everyone to add their email addresses- so MINA- shoot me an email. :P

Because of the email confusion (AKA I'm a dummy)- the winner has 72 hours to get in contact or a new winner will be chosen.

CND Red Hot Set

Morning! The winner of my giveaway will be announced later today!
:) Right now, I want to share with you the CND Red Hot Set.
This is a set of two polishes, Just Red and Red Sparkle, that CND released for Valentine's Day.
Just Red and Red Sparkle.

This is 1 coat of Just Red.

I could have used 2 coats but I figured I was about to layer it anyway.

Just Red looks a little bit orangey in these pictures, but it's really a "blood red" creme.

I'm not a huge fan of reds, but the formula on this was great.

This is Red Sparkle layered over Just Red. I used 1 coat.

I wasn't too impressed with this effect. It's JUST red sparkles. When I applied Red Sparkle I had buyers regret. I couldn't believe I spent money on something so simple!

It's just kind of average looking. This isn't the coolest effect that CND makes.

It's festive, that's all I can really say.

And then I did this...
WOW. Suddenly the Red Hot Effects pack became a lot cooler. The red sparkles looked very cool under the stamping.

I love the way it looks under the flowers. I loved this set under black.

I stamped with Wet N Wild Black Creme and Bundle Monster plate BM09.

I LOVE the way this looked! :)

Lesson learned- if you play around with polish long enough- you can learn to love it.

Petites Color Fever: Swatches

Morning ladies! Today begins my "Birthday Week". My mom always says that girls should have a Birthday week and get a week of celebrating. Somehow it always works out that throughout the week I have things to do for my B-day. Today I'm going for sushi at my favorite sushi restaurant, Noble Fish. It's a little hole in the wall but I've been going there for years and the sushi is amazing.
Anyway, today I'm share some swatches of some of the Petites Color Fever polishes I own. These polishes are made by a company called Scherer. They are actually made not too far from where I live.
Diamond Envy, Fairy Pink, Vintage Gray, and Peach Blush.

This is 5 coats of Diamond Envy.

This polish is a very sheer shimmery pink. It would probably be better for layering.

It's very pretty none the less.

This is 4 coats of Fairy Pink.

This polish is crazy. It is a slightly scattered holographic pink polish that also has a duochrome effect.

This is one you should pick up!

It's not super holographic, but it's definitely there.

This is 2 coats of Vintage Gray.

Vintage Gray is a soft beige grey creme polish. It was a bit streaky so I used a top coat.

I love this color.

This is 2 coats of Peach Blush.

Peach Blush is a peachy-gold, pink shimmer with a little sparkle to it.

Gorgeous isn't it? I've heard it was a dupe for NARS Orgasm but I don't see that at all.

I LOVE these polishes. I love everything about them. I think the bottles are cute and I love that the labels have the name of the polishes printed on the front. I also think this brand carries a  lot of interesting polish colors. I hope you guys enjoyed these too.

100th Post: Katy Perry Swatches

Today is my 100th post!
*Lights fireworks*
So I was going to show you another set of polishes, but because it's a special post- I want to show you my new Katy Perry polishes.
Teenage Dream, Not Like The Movies, Last Friday Night, and The One That Got Away.
Sorry, no Black Shatter yet! :(

This is 2 coats of Teenage Dream over Sally Hansen Surely Ivory.

A blurry shot to show the glitter.

Teenage Dream is a sheer pink glitter with holographic hexagon glitter. This was my favorite of the bunch.

This is 3 coats of Not Like The Movies over Surely Ivory.

Not Like The Movies is a silver duochrome that shines silver, grey, green, and pink.

This polish also has silver microglitter.

It looks a bit more pink here, but with a change of light or movement it also looks green.

This is 3 coats of Last Friday Night over Surely Ivory.

Last Friday Night is a blue glitter with blue hexagon glitter in a blue base.

It's a wonderful polish but it also very sheer.

Even with a nude base and 3 coats you can see visible nail line.

This is 2 coats of The One That Got Away.

The One That Got Away is a burgundy shimmer polish.

After seeing the other polishes, this one is a bit boring to me. It also seems pretty easy to find a dupe.

It's still pretty to me, just not as exciting as the other polishes.

This collection is one of my better buys recently. I loved all of the polishes. The only thing I didn't like was how sheer they were! But I think these polishes were made to go under Black Shatter.

:) I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I just recently (as in last night) joined a small gym that is located next to my work. I'm going to work out for the second time in a gym so I'm pretty pumped!

Franken Friday: Nameless Frankens

:) I have another busy day of work ahead of me, so the winner with be announced Monday! When I'm finally off!
Today I have two frankens that I made a while ago and just set them to the side. I usually like to make frankens in themed groups (because I'm campy like that) but sometimes I make random polishes that don't go with anything.
This is 4 coats of my first franken.

This one turned out to be a champagne holographic polish.

It's very pretty in real life. Sorry for the lack of clean up.

This one is a bit holographic. :)

This is 2 coats of my second franken over my first franken. :)

This franken has green glitter and pink string glitter.

It's kind of clowny to me :).

So, any name suggestions?
