Another Laying Experiment

First I want to thank everyone who has emailed me about my blog sale! I sent a ton of packages out yesterday afternoon. :) Thanks ladies for being patient. And if I haven't gotten to your email just yet- I will soon! I'm going in order of who has emailed me first.
I appreciate everyone's interest in my little blog sale. :)
I also found some extra stuff lurking around that I'm going to throw into my blog sale shortly.

This is 1 coat of LA Colors Sparkling Diamonds over Zoya Dovima.

Sparkling Diamonds is a silver glitter polish with small and larger glitter pieces.

I love this combination.

This is what I wore before I went to Vegas. My cuticles are recovering now from the dry heat.

I picked this polish up at the Dollar Tree for, well, a dollar. I love that you can take a cheap polish and make it look fancy. :)

Fun With An Old Revlon

This is 2 coats of Manic Panic MP020. I got this from KarenD at the nail board meetup. ;)

MP020 is a black jelly-creme.

It reminds me of China Glaze Liquid Leather but with a more pigmented formula.

The brush on this is hard to work with. It's very spread out and doesn't make a pretty cuticle line.

I added a coat of Revlon Sweet Nothings 740 on top.

740 gives the polish a a bit of purple shimmer and micro glitter.

Adding a sheer polish onto a black polish has become my favorite look lately.

I felt that wasn't enough so I added some glitter...

I added 1 coat of Deborah Lippmann Today Was A Fairy Tale.

I got quite a few compliments on this manicure. :)

Ulta Polishes

I haven't posted about Ulta polishes in quite some time. I actually haven't bought any in a long time! I really only go to Ulta for my Essence polishes since I buy most of my polishes at my local beauty supply. I did pick a couple Ulta polishes up a couple months ago but I hadn't swatched them until recently.

This is 3 coats of Purple Haze.

Purple Haze is a frosty purple polish with pink and blue shimmer.

I think the name of this polish really matches it. The polish has a hazy feel to it.

This polish was also a bit sheer.

This is 2 coats of Alter Ego.

Alter Ego is a metallic blue polish silver micro glitter.

I like this polish a lot more than Purple Haze. It has more of a glow.

Do you have a favorite Ulta polish?

Rachel Marie's Nails BLOG SALE!

Hey guys, I'm having a blog sale!
You can check it out here.

China Glaze: In The Mood

I've had some of these China Glaze mood polishes sitting in my untried drawer for forever. They're old so they don't change as well as they used to (I'm guessing). But I finally got them all swatched!

This is 3 coats of Green To Gold.

Green To Gold is a green toned gold shimmer polish.

This polish is one of those "ugly" polishes.

There was a bit of visible nail line with this polish.

This is 1 coat of Brown To Gold.

Brown To Gold is a tan shimmer polish.

I don't think this is technically a China Glaze polish. It only says "Mood-A-Tude" on the front but it's in the same bottle and cap shape as the China Glaze polish.

You can see there is a little bit of a darker color at the tips. I didn't wear this polish long enough to see- but I think that is the color it changes to.

This was an unlabeled polish. It was super streaky and gross. Moving on.

This is 2 coats of Purple Shimmer to Blue Shimmer.

Purple Shimmer to Blue Shimmer is a lilac purple polish with pink shimmer.

I wasn't in love with this polish. It's a bit too soft or something for me.

Maybe the pink shimmer is too pink for my skin tone...

This is 2 coats of Grey To Green.

Grey to Green is a slate green polish with silver shimmer.

I liked this polish quite a bit, although it was a bit thick so the application left marks, as you can see.

Woops. Sorry this one is so blurry!

This is 2 coats of Teal To Silver.

Teal to Silver is a light blue polish with silver micro glitter.

It's a wee bit frosty!

Do you have any China Glaze In The Mood polishes?

Essie Fair Game And Da Bush

Hey everyone! Life has been a little crazy lately so my posts haven't been on time like usual. :) I love blogging but it seems like I don't always have the time to write long posts anymore.

Here is a couple Essie polishes I wore recently.

This is 2 coats of Essie Fair Game.

Fair Game is a grey-blue polish with silver shimmer.

As soon as I saw this polish in person I knew I needed it. It's a stunning shade of greyish blue.

I thought I wouldn't need this polish because I have coat Azure but they're very different.

This is 2 coats of Da Bush.

Da Bush is a grey-green concrete creme polish.

It's a strange color but I love it.

What's your favorite Essie?
