  3. Hello! I am just discovering your blog and have pretty much fallen in love! I have 2 questions and maybe they are somewhere else on your blog but I wanted to know what is on your skin around your nails in the photos to make it shiny? Is it something you used to remove polish that got on your skin? Also, why do you sometimes not paint the polish all the way down to the cuticle? If another person knows these answers, please share!
Once again, I love your blog, I am not criticizing, just trying to learn?
    Thanks!

  4. Anon- I use CND SolarSpeed Spray after painting my nails. It helps dry the polish as well as moisturize cuticles.
Leaving a cap between the cuticle and the polish will prevent over drying cuticles as well as help increase wear. It also looks neater In my opinion.
