When I first heard about the Liquid Sands in this collection- I thought YUCK! Who would want gritty glitters- on purpose? But then I thought of the Guppy Sanding Fruit Polishes (see them here) and how amazing those polishes are- so I thought I would give this collection a try.
This is 3 coats of A Butterfly Moment.
A Butterfly Moment is a nudey pink with gold shimmer.
Looking at the bottle of this polish, I would have skipped over it. It almost looks like it's going to be a frosty hot mess but I saw some swatches online and instantly fell in love.
This is 1 coat of Pink Yet Lavender over A Butterfly Moment.
Pink Yet Lavender is a soft pink hex polish with small silver holographic circle glitter.
This is 2 coats of The Impossible.
The Impossible is a pinky based glitter polish with a gritty, matte finish. there is a lot of stars in the bottle and I've seen in other swatches but I couldn't get any on my nails.
I think my swatches are a bit wet still, because when it's fully dry it's a bit more matte. They are almost more matte than Guppy.
And here it is with 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of top coat.
This is 2 coats of Can't Let Go.
Can't Let Go is a grape glitter polish with a matte, gritty texture.
And here it is with topcoat and gelous.
This is 3 coats of Can't Let Go.
Can't Let Go is a blue based polish with holographic glitter.
And here it is with gelous and topcoat.
Overall, I really like this collection. It's different and interesting. But the gritty finish is not for everyone. Most people enjoy the smooth finish of nail polish and I don't think these polishes will ever get there.

ReplyDeleteAmong these nail colors, I prefer the first one. I super love the color especially when you put the glitters.
