I received this trio as a Christmas gift from my parents and I'm just now getting around to swatching and posting it. I'm bad I know. But after all the Christmasy manicures leading up to the 25th- I really wasn't interested in red or green until later.
So first up, this is 3 coats of Let It Snow!.
Let It Snow! is a frosty white polish with silver shimmer. It's not quite so frosty in real life. I think the camera really picked up all the shimmer in the brush strokes. Still, not my cup of tea- maybe granny will like this one.
This is 2 coats of Run, Run Rudolph.
Run, Run Rudolph is a red shimmer with red glitter. It's so beautiful and bright. I was obsessed with my nails when I wore this. I will say the glitter in the polish gives it a slightly chunky look- but top coat helps even that out.
This is 3 coats of Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree.
Holy hell. I thought this polish was going to be sheer and good for layering. But it's perfect on it's own. It's a dark black jelly base with green and red different shaped glitters. I am in love.
Overall, I wasn't in love with all of the polishes. I am totally obsessed with Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree and that is the true winner of the set. Run, Run Rudolph is gorgeous too but the formula is a little weird. And I could have gone without Let It Snow!. But, at the end of the day, it was a gift and I'm so thankful for it. I have awesome parents who really know me. :)
