Galaxy Nails

Galaxy nails are pretty easy to create as long as you have the right polishes. They are also a huge driving distraction!
I've actually only done galaxy nails 2 or 3 times before today. For as much as I love them- they always look like so much work but really aren't. I guess I psych myself out.

For these galaxy nails I wanted the base to be very bright. This still wasn't as bright as I was hoping but close enough.
I started with American Apparel Hassid for my base.
I sponged on American Apparel Violet Panache, Essie Blue Rhapsody, Nabi Magnetic Red (number 12), CND Violet Shimmer, and CND Teal Sparkle. I then covered the whole nail with a thin coat of China Glaze Octa Gone Wild.

I then used black acrylic paint to add arrows, a negative space cross, and stripes. On my right had I just did horizontal and diagonal stripes.

The cross didn't turn out as perfect as I could hope, but I'm patting myself on the back for trying. :P

Thanks for looking!
