Sinful Colors Rags To Riches over LeChat Dare To Wear Enchanted Forest

I saw some swatches of these new Sinful Colors glitters and instantly fell in love.
I'm not the biggest fan of Sinful Colors based on a few things. I have tried many SC polishes in the past. There are some really pretty ones but most of the ones I tried were so watery and sheer. I understand that some polishes are meant to be that way, but it was almost comically so. I've heard their formula has drastically changed and their formula is quite nice now. They are also know for the whole blogger picture stealing fiasco.

So, given all that, I mostly ignore their products to be honest. But this glitter was peeking my interest.

This is 1 coat of Sinful Colors Rags To Riches over Dare To Wear Enchanted Forest.

This glitter polish is perfect in person. I was scared it was going to look chunky on the nail but it lays so well and this received more compliments than any other manicure I have worn in a long time.
Rags To Riches is a sheer green glitter polish with larger blue glitter diamonds.

Under artificial light. No flash.

In sunlight. No flash.

Covering A Bubbling Manicure

Have you ever had a manicure bubble and you were too lazy to take it off or fix it? Welcome to my life. If a polish bubbles on me (I'll admit it's rare for me) I usually just cover it with glitter and call it a day.
But today I tried something different.

This is 2 coats of OPI OPI...Eurso Euro. I've warn this three times and it has bubbled each time. I've put this on other people and it's bubbled. I've tried different bottles. I've tried thinning it. Thinning it has helped a lot but still... I can't think that it's *just* me.
This one dried to a satin finish.

The bubbles were only really noticeable up close but enough to drive me crazy.

So instead I did this! After seeing The Polished Perfectionist's pics of her manicure I felt this was a good way to cover the bubbling up.
I sponged Zoya Ivonka on my tips.

It's not perfect but it helped cover the bubbling!

In clouded natural light.

Pink & Silver Disco Ball Nails

I can't really think of anything better to call these nails!
I was flipping through an old Japanese nail art magazine to get a big inspired. All the rhinestones and bobbles had me itching for something over the top.

I used SpaRitual Reveal Yourself as the pink base. Which by the way, if you're looking for a nice light creamy pink this one is awesome.
I then applied 2 coats of Tins The Universe to the center of my nail. After that, I applied some silver hex glitter (purchased here) over the center of the nail. I applied a thin silver line to the tip of my nail using Studio M Sleigh Bells. Finally finished up with a couple rhinestones (here) and top coat!

I usually don't wear pink normally. So I don't know what brought on a sudden urge for this!

Under artificial light with no flash.

This was a manicure I did for my mom recently. She is so great to do manicures on because she will let me try anything. But for whatever reason she is extremely hard on her hands. The metal roses I added were all ripped off the next morning and she has no idea how she did it... Hmm...
